AB6IX is a South Korean boy group formed by Brand New Music, currently consisting of four members: Woong, Donghyun, Woojin, and Daehwi. Originally debuting as a five-member act with their first EP B:Complete, the group quickly established a strong identity rooted in self-production and artistic involvement. Their name reflects the concept of achieving completeness alongside their fandom, ABNEW, emphasizing unity between the members and their supporters.

Prior to debut, several members gained public recognition through Produce 101 Season 2, where Woojin and Daehwi successfully debuted in the project group Wanna One. Meanwhile, Youngmin and Donghyun promoted as the duo MXM, laying the groundwork for AB6IX's formation. Following their debut, the group rapidly built momentum with releases such as 6ixense and Vivid, showcasing their musical versatility and involvement in songwriting and production.

The group later underwent a major transition when former leader Youngmin departed following a DUI incident, resulting in AB6IX continuing as a four-member group. Despite this setback, they maintained consistent activity with releases like Salute, Mo' Complete, and The Future is Ours series, while also expanding into the Japanese market and global promotions. Their discography reflects steady growth, balancing bright pop sounds with more mature and experimental concepts over time.

AB6IX returned with their third full-length album Seven: Crimson Horizon, preceded by the pre-release single "So Sweet (0522)". Brand New Music later announced that the members' exclusive contracts are approaching expiration, with ongoing discussions regarding renewals. Following their final scheduled concert, the group is expected to enter a temporary hiatus from group activities, leaving their future direction dependent on the outcome of these negotiations.
