ARGON was a six-member South Korean boy group under MSH Entertainment. The group consisted of Kain, Haneul, Roel, Yeoun, Jaeun, and Gon, and debuted on March 11, 2019, with their first single album "Master Key". The name ARGON was derived from "Art Go On," reflecting the idea of art continuing without limits and the group’s intention to explore a wide range of musical styles.
The group began building anticipation ahead of debut by opening official social media accounts in May 2018, gradually introducing members between November 19 and November 23, 2018. They continued releasing pre-debut content, including profile teasers and concept materials, leading up to their official debut announcement in February 2019. On their debut date, ARGON held a showcase and began promotions for "Master Key", marking their entry into the industry.
Later in 2019, the group announced their first comeback with the mini album "GO FORWARD : Wide Dream", officially released on October 2, 2019, alongside the reveal of their fandom name, "A-RANG". In May 2020, a crowdfunding project was launched through Makestar to support their next release, exceeding expectations by reaching 250% of its target. Despite this success, the planned album was never released, and the project was ultimately cancelled.
Following the crowdfunding campaign, ARGON remained active through various content updates until October 1, 2020, which marked their final official activity. Due to prolonged inactivity and the absence of further announcements, the group was presumed to have disbanded in late 2020.
After disbandment, the members pursued individual paths. Haneul (born Lee Cheol Hyeok) later signed with YM Entertainment in 2024 and participated in survival programs, while Kain continued his career as a professional dancer under the name Junho, collaborating with artists such as ENHYPEN, Red Velvet, and SF9. Gon (born Kim Sung Joong) debuted as a soloist on April 8, 2025, with the digital single "DNDN (Day n Day n Night)", following appearances on "Peak Time" and "Project 7". Jaeun went on to establish Decide Entertainment and announced plans to debut a new boy group, in addition to operating a clothing store "N.68" in Jeju. Meanwhile, Roel and Yeoun are believed to have stepped away from the entertainment industry.
