CLC (an acronym for CrystaL Clear) was a South Korean girl group formed by Cube Entertainment in 2015. The group consisted of five members: Seunghee, Yujin, Seungyeon, Sorn & Yeeun at the time of debut.

Their debut EP, 'First Love' was released on March 19, 2015. Two members, Elkie and Eunbin, were added to the group, following the release of their third EP, 'Refresh', on February 29, 2016. Eunbin, however, did not participate in official promotions until their fourth EP, Nu.clear, as she was competing on the survival show, 'Produce 101'.

On February 3, 2021, it was announced that Elkie had officially left Cube Entertainment as her contract with the agency was terminated in a mutual agreement between both parties.

In June 2021, SpoTV News confirmed that member Yujin will be an upcoming contestant in the competitive reality show, Girls Planet 999. During Episode 2, Yujin revealed that Cube Entertainment had dismissed CLC and its members, leading viewers to speculate that the group had disbanded, with no official confirmation yet from Cube. On October 22, 2021, in the finale, Yujin ranked 3rd and secured her spot in the debuting group, 'Kep1er'.
