D1CE was a five-member boy group formed under D1CE Entertainment. The group debuted on August 1, 2019 with their first mini album Wake Up : Roll the World, introducing a lineup consisting of Woo Jin Young, Park Woo Dam, Kim Hyun Soo, Jung Yoo Jun, and Jo Yong Geun. Prior to their debut, the group’s name was selected through a fan vote following the announcement of the final lineup in March 2019.

In 2020, D1CE continued to build their presence with steady releases and fan engagement. They announced their official fandom name, Don1y, on February 16 in celebration of their 200th day since debut. On June 17, they released their second mini album Draw You : Remember Me, led by the title track "Draw You", followed by their first digital single "Good Day" on November 30. The group also connected with fans through their first online fanmeeting Christmas Party in December.

The group remained active into 2021 with the release of their digital single "You're My Destiny" on February 10, accompanied by a special clip. However, their activities were gradually affected by members’ military enlistments, beginning with Jo Yong Geun in May 2021 and Park Woo Dam later that year, followed by Kim Hyun Soo and Jung Yoo Jun in March 2022. Despite these challenges, they continued to hold fanmeetings, including [Dear. My Don1y].

On January 20, 2023, it was officially announced that D1CE had disbanded after three years and five months of activity, coinciding with the expiration of all members’ exclusive contracts with D1CE Entertainment, bringing their journey as a group to an end.
