GENBLUE is a groundbreaking girl group under TEN Entertainment. Originally formed as a nine-member unit through the 2023 Taiwanese survival program Next Girlz, the group quickly became a domestic sensation, winning the show and securing their debut. In early 2024, the group relocated to South Korea to undergo an intensive "K-pop style" training regimen, leading to their rebranding as a global act. The group officially debuted in South Korea on September 2, 2024, with the digital single "COCOCO". Produced by top-tier Korean talent, "COCOCO" showcased the group's "Teen Crush" energy and marked them as the first Taiwanese girl group to enter the mainstream K-pop industry successfully. In April 2024, during their intensive training phase in Seoul, the original leader, Rong Rong, and members Vicky and Bido departed the group following internal evaluations. The remaining six members finalized the lineup with XXIN taking over as leader. In 2025, they solidified their presence with the EP MIRROR and officially launched their fandom, 'COOKIE'.
