GIRLSET

GIRLSET 소개

GIRLSET, formerly VCHA, is an American girl group formed by JYP Entertainment in collaboration with Republic Records through the 2023 reality competition program A2K (America2Korea). Originally introduced as VCHA in September 2023, the group debuted with a six-member lineup and later rebranded as Girlset as a four-member group in 2025.

VCHA was first announced as the winning lineup of A2K in September 2023 and released pre-debut music including "SeVit (NEW LIGHT)", followed by their official debut single “Girls of the Year” on January 26, 2024. The name VCHA (derived from the Korean word 비춰, meaning “to shine upon”) reflected the group’s mission to inspire and uplift fans.

Due to member departures, KG in December 2024 and Kaylee in July 2025, the group underwent restructuring. On August 7, 2025, JYP announced the rebranding of the group as Girlset, with the remaining four members Camila, Lexi, Kendall, and Savanna continuing under the new name. Their first release as Girlset was the single “Commas” in August 2025, followed by “Little Miss” in November 2025.

GIRLSET is noted for its global positioning and unique artistry, blending Western pop influences with K-pop training and production values, and aiming to connect with a worldwide audience.
