IHOTEU was an independent live idol duo. They held their live debut, originally as three on May 26, 2024 before releasing their debut single album, The First Wave, on June 10, 2024.
On June 13, 2025 Mina left the group due to the controversy with the former JDB Entertainment's CEO. The same day, EFG Music announced that IHOTEU's exclusive contract with the agency had been terminated.
On October 20, 2025 IHOTEU officialy disbanded after their last live show and announced that both members will redebut in a new group with new members which was later revealed to be KISEO.
