J-Young was a South Korean trot duo under Softventures Inc., made up of J-Na and Jayoung. Both members were previously part of the short-lived girl groups MOA and 4L, and formed J-Young shortly after 4L disbanded in 2016. The duo debuted on July 13, 2016 with the digital single "I Don't Know," followed by a second single, "Ramyeon With Me Tonight," released on May 15, 2017. J-Young disbanded in 2018 after the members' contracts with Softventures Inc. expired and neither chose to renew; the split was never formally announced. J-Na later kept a lower profile in entertainment, while Jayoung stepped away from music and started a family in the years that followed.
