제이 와이 제이 소개
JYJ was a South Korean group under C-JeS Entertainment, originally formed as a trio consisting of former TVXQ! members Jaejoong, Junsu, and Yoochun. The group debuted in Japan on September 8, 2010 with the mini album The..., followed by their international debut album The Beginning later that year and their Korean debut album In Heaven on September 28, 2011.
Formed following the members’ departure from TVXQ!, JYJ quickly gained international attention for their vocal performances, global promotions, and strong overseas fanbase. Throughout their career, the group balanced music activities alongside individual pursuits in acting, musicals, and solo music releases.
On April 24, 2019, C-JeS Entertainment announced the termination of Yoochun’s contract following his drug-related controversy and announcement of retirement from the entertainment industry. Afterward, the group’s official profile was removed from the agency’s website, though social media accounts continued promoting Jaejoong and Junsu for several years.
By mid-2023, the lack of group-related activities and updates strongly suggested that JYJ had quietly disbanded. Jaejoong and Junsu later continued activities together under the duo name JX.
