루미너스 소개

LUMINOUS was a four-member boy group that debuted under EVA Entertainment on September 9, 2021 with their first mini album Youth. The release had originally been scheduled for September 1 but was postponed after member Youngbin tested positive for COVID-19 in August 2021.

Before debuting as LUMINOUS, the members trained under DS Entertainment as DS BOYS and were originally preparing to debut in 2019. However, due to internal issues within the company, their debut plans were canceled and the members departed the agency before eventually regrouping under a new label.

Ahead of their official debut, the group released the pre-debut EP Luminous Dreaming in August 2021. They later continued activities with releases including Between Light and Darkness (Self n Ego), the digital single "Wish You Were Here," and their first full-length album Luminous in Wonderland. In 2022, they also introduced their fandom name LUMINI, symbolizing the bond between the group and their fans.

In September 2024, it was announced that the group would be transferred from SE Group Entertainment to another agency, followed by plans for a collaboration release with YORO later that year. On February 9, 2025, Barunson WIP announced that the members’ exclusive contracts had ended and that LUMINOUS had officially disbanded.
