미사모 소개

MISAMO is the first official subunit of TWICE, consisting of the group's three Japanese members: Mina, Sana, and Momo. The unit debuted in Japan in 2023, giving the trio a dedicated space apart from TWICE's full nine-member structure.

The unit's identity is more elegant and mature than much of TWICE's early bright-pop image, leaning into polished Japanese pop, refined styling, and performance built around the members' individual strengths. Mina brings a graceful vocal and dance presence, Sana gives the unit a bright but sophisticated center, and Momo anchors the performance side.

MISAMO matters because it formalized a fan-favorite trio that had long been central to TWICE's Japanese connection. The unit works as both a TWICE subunit and a J-pop-facing act with its own elegant tone, rather than a minor side project.
