세러데이 소개

SATURDAY (세러데이) is a South Korean girl group under Yoonso Group. Originally formed as a seven-member group by SD Entertainment, they debuted on July 18, 2018 with the digital single "MMook JJi BBa." Following the closure of SD Entertainment, the group transferred to Yoonso Group in 2023. Although they have remained inactive since 2024, their disbandment has not been officially announced.

SATURDAY was introduced in July 2018 when SD Entertainment unveiled the group's original seven-member lineup consisting of Yuki, Ayeon, Chohee, Haneul, Chaewon, Sunha, and Sion. They officially debuted on July 18 with the digital single "MMook JJi BBa," accompanied by multilingual introduction videos. Later that year, Chaewon departed the group to focus on her studies, and the group released the special Christmas single "To Sunday Christmas."

In 2019, Juyeon joined the group, restoring the lineup to seven members ahead of the release of "Follow SATURDAY," featuring the title track "WiFi." During the year, Sunha left the group and was replaced by Minseo, while Sion and Chohee also departed following the release of the special single "To Sunday Gwiyomi." The group later returned with their third single, "IKYK," led by the title track "BByong."

Despite financial difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, SATURDAY continued promotions in 2020 with the single "D.B.D.B.DIB." They followed this with the single album "Only You" in January 2021.

The group entered a lengthy hiatus in 2022 as SD Entertainment ceased operations, leaving SATURDAY's future uncertain. In 2023, the group found a new home under Yoonso Group, preventing an expected disbandment. Shortly after the transfer, Haneul departed for personal reasons, and the group resumed activities as four members with the single album "Find Summer," featuring the title track "Stay."

In March 2024, Yoonso Group confirmed that Juyeon had temporarily suspended group activities due to health concerns. Since then, SATURDAY has remained inactive. Although the group has never officially announced a hiatus or disbandment, they are widely presumed to have been on hiatus since 2024 due to the prolonged inactivity across all of their official social media accounts. Additionally, the group's X (formerly Twitter) account appears to have either been taken over or repurposed, as its previous content has been removed and replaced with unrelated posts, further contributing to uncertainty surrounding the group's current status.
