SuperM is a project boy group formed by SM Entertainment with U.S. promotion through Capitol Music Group. The group brought together established performers from several SM acts: Baekhyun and Kai from EXO, Taemin from SHINee, and Taeyong, Ten, Lucas, and Mark from the NCT system.

The group's concept was deliberately high-impact: a "super group" built for global visibility, performance spectacle, and English-language market crossover. Their debut single "Jopping" became widely discussed for its scale and meme-friendly hook, while later tracks such as "100," "Tiger Inside," and "One (Monster & Infinity)" leaned into dense choreography, strong individual centers, and SM's polished performance style.
