Tahiti was a girl group under Jline Entertainment. Originally consisting of the six members Minjae, Jungbin, EJ, Keezy, Yeeun, and Jisoo, they debuted on July 24, 2012, with the digital single "Tonight". Prior to their debut, the group appeared in a sitcom-style reality show titled "Ta-Dah! It’s Tahiti".

Later in 2012, major lineup changes occurred. EJ, Keezy, and Yeeun left the group and were replaced by Ari, Miso, and Jin. With this new lineup, Tahiti released their second digital single "Hasta Luego" on November 1.

In early 2014, Jungbin went on hiatus due to health issues and was unable to take part in later activities. In June, Jerry was introduced as a new member, and the group released the single "Oppa, You’re Mine". Tahiti returned on January 4, 2015, with their second mini album "Fall Into Temptation" and the title track "Phone Number". Jungbin and Jin were absent from this comeback and were subsequently considered to have left the group.

The group continued promotions with releases such as "Skip" (2015) and "I Want To Know Your Mind" (2016). In 2017, Jisoo went on hiatus due to health issues and officially left the group in December of the same year.

On July 25, 2018, Jerry announced that Tahiti had decided to disband after discussions with their agency. Members Ari and Jerry also shared farewell messages to fans on the same day.
