와우 소개

WOW (와우), also stylized as W.O.W, was a seven member South Korean boy group under A.CONIC. The group consisted of Kwon Taeeun, Choi Yonghun, Joo Wondae, Yoon Daro, Yooseong, Jeon Sejin, and Lee Pando. Their name, WOW, is an abbreviation for “Wizard of the World.”

Prior to their debut, A.CONIC announced plans to launch the seven member group in late 2020. The lineup brought together members from a variety of entertainment backgrounds. Kwon Taeeun previously competed on Produce X 101, while Choi Yonghun appeared on Under Nineteen. Joo Wondae and Yoon Daro were active as models, Yooseong had previous experience as an idol, and Jeon Sejin and Lee Pando were actors.

The group’s debut was initially planned for late 2020 and was later rescheduled. WOW officially debuted on March 8, 2021, with their first single, “Miss U.”

Following their debut, WOW announced Chewing as the official name of their fandom on May 7, 2021. The group later returned with their second digital single, “To My Ex,” on December 6, 2021.

By March 2022, WOW’s official social media accounts had become inactive. The group was also removed from A.CONIC’s artist roster. Although an official disbandment announcement does not appear to have been issued, these developments led to the presumption that WOW had quietly disbanded in 2022.
