WeGirls was a South Korean girl group formed by Aftermoon Entertainment. Known for their unique "social media-driven" concept, the group’s initial lineup was determined through fan participation and crowdsourcing. They officially debuted on August 31, 2018, with the single album On Air. The group was recognized for their bright energy and communication with fans, who are known as Wings. In 2019, they released their second mini-album, Ride, and won the "Challenge Award" at the 27th Korea Culture Entertainment Awards. Throughout their career, the group underwent several significant lineup changes, categorized into three distinct "generations." Despite their efforts to evolve their sound and image, member YeHana confirmed the group's official disbandment in February 2022.
