Topp Dogg, later rebranded as XENO-T, was a South Korean boy group originally formed by producer Cho PD under Stardom Entertainment. Debuting as a 13-member group on October 22, 2013 with the EP Dogg's Out and its title track "Follow Me," the group later transitioned to Hunus Entertainment following the merger of Stardom Entertainment. After multiple lineup changes, the remaining members—Hojoon, Sangdo, B-Joo, Xero, and Sangwon—reorganized as XENO-T in 2018.
Prior to debut, the group gained attention through a series of promotional mixtapes released in 2012. Following their official debut, Topp Dogg built a reputation for their powerful performances and ambitious concepts through releases such as Arario, AmadeuS, The Beat, and their first full-length album First Street. The group also expanded internationally, becoming the first idol group to hold 100 concerts in Japan in 2014 and embarking on concert tours in the United States.
Throughout their career, the group experienced numerous lineup changes as members pursued individual opportunities in music, acting, military service, and survival programs. Several members participated in shows such as Show Me the Money, Produce 101 Season 2, and The Unit, while others departed to focus on solo careers or personal endeavors. These changes gradually reduced the group's original lineup and reshaped its future direction.
On February 21, 2018, the group announced a fresh start under the name XENO-T, combining the concepts of “xenogeneic” and “top-class” as a tribute to their fanbase, ToppKlass. The five-member lineup officially relaunched with their Japanese debut single "Wherever You Are" on May 30, 2018. Following the rebrand, group activities gradually ceased, marking the end of one of K-pop's most frequently evolving boy groups.
