iii is a South Korean five-member girl group under Big Ocean ENM. Originally formed as a six-member group, they debuted on August 29, 2025, with the single album “Re:al iii.” Their name is derived from the three letter “i”s in the word “inspiration.”

Big Ocean ENM launched official social media accounts for the group on November 12, 2023, followed by a news release confirming that the group would initially consist of five members and release a pre-debut digital single titled “Forbidden Midnight” on November 22, ahead of their planned debut in 2024.

The original lineup was introduced sequentially beginning November 13, starting with Vivi, followed by Nicole, Ahra, Yan, and Evie. In June 2024, Vivi later shared that she would no longer be debuting with the group and had returned to Thailand to focus on her studies. A dance video featuring three members was uploaded to the group’s Instagram account on November 28, confirming Evie’s departure. By early 2025, all members of the initial lineup had exited the group.

The agency announced on July 11, 2025, that a new lineup would be revealed through unfiltered concept photos starting July 16. The members were introduced in order as Namkhing, Soobin, Taeri, Eungi, Hana, and Huran.

Their official debut was confirmed on August 12, 2025, with the single album “Re:al iii,” released on August 29. The group later announced their official fandom name, iNNIT, on December 7, 2025.

On April 3, 2026, Big Ocean ENM announced that, after careful consideration regarding the group’s future direction, Huran’s exclusive contract had been terminated, marking her departure from iii. The agency also requested that fans refrain from speculation or misunderstandings regarding the matter.
