Bao is a South Korean rapper and Twitch streamer currently under KOODS Entertainment. He is known as a former member of the boy groups LUCENTE and XD (formerly XEED), as well as its sub-unit BE:MIN. He made his solo debut on September 12, 2024 with the digital single "Why So Serious?".

He first debuted on September 18, 2018 as a member of LUCENTE with their mini album The Big Dipper. After several years of activity, Bao announced on April 20, 2021 that his contract with NOGA had expired earlier that month, leading to his departure from the group while confirming his intention to continue pursuing music independently.

In 2022, Bao joined the pre-debut lineup of XEED, officially debuting with the group on December 1, 2022 through the mini album Dream Land. The group later disbanded on April 8, 2024, marking the end of their initial run, after which he began focusing on his solo career.

Following the group’s reformation as XD on April 20, 2025, Bao resumed group activities while also expanding his individual career. He signed with KOODS Entertainment on August 7 for his solo promotions and became part of the sub-unit BE:MIN, releasing their debut digital single "Like You Like Me" on October 18. On November 10, 2025, it was announced that Bao would be going on an indefinite hiatus, marking a pause in his group activities.
