Park Junil is a South Korean trainee under MME and a former member of the pre-debut boy group Trainee A. He is also known for his appearance as a contestant on the survival program Boys II Planet.

Junil was first introduced in March 2021 as part of Trainee A, drawing early attention as a developing trainee. However, on August 2 of the same year, it was announced that he had left the pre-debut lineup. In 2023, he confirmed his departure from JYP Entertainment after opening a personal Instagram account on March 29, marking a transition period in his career. He later deleted all of his social media on June 14, and on August 14, he appeared in a teaser for iNKODE’s global auditions, hinting at potential future activities under the agency.

In 2025, Junil gained wider recognition as a contestant on Boys II Planet, representing iNKODE. Introduced on June 12, he competed throughout the show before being eliminated in episode 10 on September 18, finishing in 21st place.

On March 19, 2026, MME announced Junil as their newest artist, signaling a new chapter in his career. Shortly after, on April 18, it was confirmed that he would make his official solo debut with the digital single "Echo", released on April 27, 2026.
