Lee Jin-yong, better known as Loopy is a South Korean rapper who debuted under MKIT Rain in 2015.

Born and raised in Seoul, he later moved to Los Angeles, California where he began his musical career as an aspiring producer, then later turned to rap. Until 2011, he was active under the stage names Momentee and Teezy before settling with Loopy. The name ‘Loopy’ comes from the English word ‘looping’. The word looping refers to that of his rap flow will make your head spin (or loop).

On January 22, 2016 Loopy and fellow rappers BLOO, nafla and Young West founded the label MKIT RAIN in South Korea, after being introduced to each other by a mutual friend.

Loopy dropped his first EP, ‘ICE Tape A,’ in 2017, setting the stage for his debut album, ‘ICE,’ which soared into the top 50 album charts in South Korea.

On April 14, 2020 , he released his first full-length album, “NO FEAR”, with collaborators such as Paloalto, Changmo, pH-1, and more. His second studio album “MARNI” came in 2024.

After the dissolution of MKIT RAIN in 2022, Loopy is now under AI0213 and UNWANTED WRLD.
