Lucia, also known by her real name Sim Gyu Seon, is a Korean indie pop singer-songwriter, producer and author under her own label GYU. She debuted in 2010 with the song "Cat Waltz" in the single "The First Room" under pastelmusic, which she left in 2016. One year before her official debut she participated in the musical "The Magicians" as the protagonist Koo Ja-eun. In 2010, she was a guest vocalist for label-mate Epitone Project. In January 2018, she was on King of Masked Singer.

In 2003, she won the Grand Prize at the 4th PBC Creative Life Hymn contest for What to Eat and in 2004, she won the Grand Prize in Korean Music at the Yeosu International Youth Celebration. Further she won the gold medal at the 29th MBC College Song Festival as a vocalist for the band ASCO (ASCORBIC ACID), a joint band composed of Busan Arts College and Dong-Eui University students, in 2005. During her time as an ASCO member, a big company tried to recruit her; however, they posed the conditions that she’d have to undergo plastic surgery and accept to debut as part of a 4-member group. She eventually declined. In 2015, the band participated in the 29th MBC University Song Festival with the song "Feel Love" and won the gold prize.
