리세 소개

RiSe was a Japanese singer and model under Polaris Entertainment and a member of the girl group LADIES' CODE.

Before pursuing a music career, she was active as a model and represented Japan in the Miss Korea 2009 pageant. In 2011, she gained attention as a contestant on MBC’s audition program Star Audition: Birth of a Great Star. Following the show, she signed with KeyEast.

After two years of training, RiSe left KeyEast and joined Polaris Entertainment in January 2013. Prior to her official debut on March 7, 2013, she was already active in broadcasting, including appearances on We Got Married alongside David Oh.

On September 3, 2014, RiSe was involved in a serious car accident while returning to Seoul with her group after a schedule in Daegu. She remained in critical condition and passed away four days later, on September 7. Her funeral was held in South Korea on September 9, after which her remains were returned to Japan for a second service attended by family and close friends. A memorial space was later established at the Sky Castle Memorial Park in Gyeonggi Province.
