HeyGirls, originally known as the dance team Black Queen, officially debuted as a musical group on October 19, 2012, with the digital single "Good Girl." After several years of activity and numerous lineup rotations, the group rebranded as the idol group HeyGirls on November 20, 2017, with the single "No One But You." The group’s history is marked by frequent member changes, involving approximately 25 different members across both eras. A major shift occurred in June 2020 when original members Jandi and Siyeon departed, followed by the exit of the final original member, Daeun, in 2022. The group's final active trio consisted of Sulhee, Chaerin, and Jein. HeyGirls officially disbanded on December 26, 2023, with the subunit 1CHU (Sulhee and Chaerin) continuing as an independent duo.
